Organization

The financing of the school is not done by tuition fees but by a scholarship from industrial sponsors for each student. Therefore, a close relationship between each student and a company is established right from the beginning of the studies and is further developed by internships and project works throughout the 2-year program.

Education

NIT's slogan "The unique combination" refers to a 2-year double-degree program: Students are studying at the neighboured Technical University a Master of Science in an engineering program of their choice and concurrently are taking part in the MBA program at the NIT. The idea is to equip engineers not only with technical knowledge but at the same time provide a practical education for leading positions in industry. Besides the classical management disciplines, the MBA program includes an intensive training in various soft skills, law and a foreign language (usually German). All classes are held in English language. The faculty consists of distinguished professors and industry experts from various universities and companies across the world.

Student living

The 70 students from 40 different countries are living together on campus in spacious single apartments. These apartments are spacious and fully furnished for the convenience of the students. Intercultural exchange in daily life and international friendships are guaranteed.
